241 Tote

I finished this new bag this afternoon. The pattern calls for 3 different fabrics on the outside, but I opted for just one. This botanical print is so gorgeous all by itself, that I didn't think it needed any competition. The color is very unusual - but striking - kind of a tannish/olive and the flowers are a turquoise/aqua that just glows. I found a batik for the inside that matches perfectly! The pattern is by Anna Graham of Noodlehead.
I love this bag and give it a "thumbs up" for style. I'll definitely be making more of these!
This one is for sale here on

  1. Very nice! I really like the shape of the outside pockets on this one!

  2. What a fabulous job, love the fabric you chose as well..and yes, it holds it's own in fabulous...

  3. Lovely, Kathy! Great fabrics - you couldn't have got a more perfect match for the lining fabric. I have this pattern and keep looking at it and then putting it away again. I like the idea of using just one fabric for the outer - if I did that I'd really have no excuse not to make it soon as I'm sure I have something in my stash that would work.

  4. beautiful job kathy! great fabric choice and it looks really well made. :)

  5. I love the 241 Tote! Great fabric choice.
